Challenging myself all the time is what drives me to create art that expresses exactly what I want to convey. This drive is what has led me to installation. Installation is a logical result of becoming involved with many different mediums and exploring the feelings those mediums stimulate. My installations are fossils that show the evolution of my artistic identity. They include all of my skills as a painter, potter, and sculptor along with my imagination as an artist. I have chosen installation as my favorite way of making art because I don’t feel constrained in what I can produce.
For the future, I can see my art is leading me to get involved in more public projects that can assimilate my visions into people and communities. I would like to connect large-scale public art with a greater variety of environments.
